ONE – 1/2″  Shaft Retainer / Hubcap

Instructions for removal:

Removing the chrome hubcap requires a hammer and a chisel.  If you look close at the hubcap, there are two prongs that hold it on.  Place the chisel on a prong and hit the chisel with the hammer a couple of times.  Repeat with the other prong (the hubcap and pivot bar can be rotated to get a better angle on a prong).  Hopefully, the hubcap can be pulled right off with your fingers at this point.  If not, keep addressing the two prongs with the chisel.  Grabbing, pulling, chiseling, or hitting at any location other than the two prongs will not help get the hubcap off.
